WALKER RUNS TO LABOR DAY ENDURO VICTORY

 Portland, Ore. (September 3, 2001) -- Dan Walker of Longview, Wash. claimed the victory in the annual Labor Day Factory Stock Car Enduro at Portland Speedway Monday afternoon. Walker was followed to the line by Dale Vermiere, and Mike Mikelson rounding out the top three. More than 50 cars lined up for their third event on the Portland clay which saw only four caution flags during the 200-lap event.
